Lavender Lemonade
This is a perfectly enchanting and relaxing beverage for the warm and sunny summer months. Be sure to use culinary (edible) lavender or lavender grown without pesticides.
Ingredients:
2 cups of spring water
4 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
1/2 gallon of fresh, natural real pink lemonade or natural sparkling lemonade (no mixes or powders!)
8 sprigs of fresh lavender buds
Directions:
Heat spring water to just boiling and pour over dried lavender in a heatproof glass container. Let cool to room temperature and pour through mesh strainer. Using a one gallon container, stir the infusion into the lemonade until well combined. Chill and serve over ice. Garnish each glass with a fresh lavender sprig. Makes 8 magical servings
